Cannabis extraction consulting and operations

ExtractOS

We build cannabis extraction systems that protect capital, reach first revenue sooner, and keep operators ready for the next stage of market pressure.

Mission

Help teams skip the expensive lessons Oregon already learned.

We have watched the Oregon cannabis industry mature through early energy, fast builds, thin systems, and margin compression.

As markets tighten, the separation becomes clear: companies with real operating discipline keep improving while companies that are still improvising get exposed.

ExtractOS exists to bring those lessons to operators before they repeat the same mistakes. When a market matures, mature companies are the only ones that survive. That means teams are usually more under the gun than they realize.

Our mission

Turn hard-won cannabis operating experience into facilities, teams, and software systems that can survive real market competition.

Who this is for

Extraction decisions get expensive fast.

ExtractOS is built for licensed and near-licensed cannabis operators who need the room, people, data, and product plan to make business sense before capital is locked in.

How we start

Start with a 20-minute facility-readiness review. We look for the extraction, staffing, equipment, workflow, and operating risks most likely to cost money before launch.

01

Craft growers adding extraction

Convert flower and trim into higher-margin products without trapping cash in the wrong equipment, room flow, or product mix.

02

Processors preparing to launch

Commission the room to spec, train the team, and shorten the path from buildout to reliable production and first revenue.

03

Operators fighting inconsistency

Improve yield consistency, COA pass rates, throughput, downtime visibility, and the day-to-day decisions that protect margin.

04

Teams that need ongoing management

Keep SOPs, training, software, production targets, and accountability connected after launch instead of hoping the handoff holds.

Our method

Build the company the market will eventually require.

We start with the mistakes that show up again and again in maturing cannabis markets, then design the operation around avoiding them before they show up as missed revenue, wasted labor, failed batches, or expensive rework.

01

Pressure-test the plan

We challenge throughput assumptions, staffing models, room flow, SKU selection, and market expectations before capital gets trapped in the wrong build or equipment stack.

02

Design around bottlenecks

Facility planning connects equipment, compliance, cleaning, storage, labor, and actual production rhythm so the room can move product instead of just house machinery.

03

Treat cultivation as input control

Extraction performance starts upstream. We help align strain selection, harvest timing, biomass quality, and input consistency with the products the market will reward.

04

Train for pressure

Operators need more than SOP binders. We use SOPs and work instructions to optimize new facilities, then support the handoff with training, run discipline, maintenance planning, and decision habits that hold up on busy days.

05

Instrument the business

Software has to show what is happening on the floor: yields, downtime, inventory, labor, loss, and the few numbers that determine whether the operation is healthy. We integrate SOPs into tools each operator can access, with remote technical support to help keep performance on track.

Built and run, not just advised

A consulting partner with mature-market scar tissue.

We know the failure patterns. Oregon showed what happens when facilities scale without enough operating discipline underneath them.

We have lived the volume. Owen helped build one of Oregon's leading extract and vape brands, with millions of units sold through a market that kept getting more demanding.

We understand the inputs. That operating view extends upstream, from designing and running a 27,500-square-foot indoor craft grow in Illinois to building the team and process behind award-winning flower.

We connect the full system. Cultivation, extraction, labor, compliance, sales reality, and software are treated as one operating model.

We prepare for compression. The method assumes prices tighten, buyers get sharper, and operators need tighter systems, clearer numbers, and stronger follow-through.

Founder - Oregon

ExtractOS is built from operating experience inside licensed cannabis facilities. Owen founded Sitka Northwest / Disco Dabs in Oregon, helping build one of the Northwest's premier concentrate and vape brands across hydrocarbon live resin, diamonds, distillate carts, yield optimization, packaging, sales, and fulfillment.

He later helped launch Oregonix and its Northern Heights brand into the Illinois adult-use market, directed extraction at Drecisco Farms, and led cultivation at Noblecraft Farm. That seed-to-sale background is why ExtractOS looks at the whole operating system: biomass quality, facility design, extraction workflow, product development, training, compliance, inventory, and the software integrations that help operators capture more value from every pound, every run, and every shift.
